Why Preparing Matters

We were very in love... and very unprepared

When Sandra and I met, there was an immediate spark. Our families and friends saw it. Engagement came as no surprise to anyone. We were in love, excited about our future, and ready to build a life together.

What we didn't realize was how much we still had to learn.

Somewhere between "I do" and "Happily Ever After," we started running into problems we weren't prepared for. We had different expectations, different ways of seeing things, and no real roadmap for navigating those differences. We'd love to say we handled it all well. We didn't.

Looking back, we wish someone had helped us have those conversations before we got married. We wish we'd understood each other better and had some practical tools for the road ahead.

What To Expect

A thoughtful start, one conversation at a time

We'll meet six times, about an hour each. Using your SYMBIS results and workbooks as a starting point, we'll explore what makes each of you tick, talk through the big questions, and make space for conversations that can be easy to put off. It's a relaxed, guided process with room for honest questions, a few laughs, and the occasional detour. We'll have a plan, but the conversations are always about the two of you.
